Paste in Place / Duplicate to other page - not working ?

Hi. 

I'm fairly new to studio and trying to achieve the most basic command of any UI/UX design tool. 

Paste in place

How do I copy an element from a page and paste it precisely in the same place onto another page ? 
Because 'cmd + V' doesn't do it.

Furthermore if I duplicate an object from one page to the other it doesn't move to the other page? 

Is there's something that I'm missing ?

Thanks for reaching out about this, Samuel. At this time, the 'paste in place' functionality within Studio works much in the same way as "paste", whereas the layer/group/component is pasted at the 0/0 top left coordinate position when pasting from one artboard to another vs. at the original coordinates, as you'd expect. As this is not the standard functionality of paste in place, our Product team is monitoring and tracking interest for this functionality to be incorporated within a future release. I'm so sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

In the meantime, I will be opening a ticket on your behalf to track your interest for Studio to improve the Paste in Place option when pasting from one artboard to another to maintain the position (x,y) coordinates from the original board. Please look for a message soon confirming your vote for this.

This is so weird. 

 

I mean, being web / screen technologies, I suppose I understand the dev. logic behind 0/0 top left coordinate position when pasting... But It's so surprising it's not implemented day one in the software. I mean, it means that to update existing designs with new elements in one hell of a headache...
