Button hover and clickable

Is it possible to make the button which will be clickable and also have a hover efect? I tried to do it in Studio and also through Hotspots and I didn't find any easy solution for that :(

BTW: I saw some topic here about the same problem which are from year 2015 (and closed) and InVision still has no simple solution how to do it???

Hi Jary,

Thanks for reaching out here in Community about this desired function. At the moment, we do not support hotspots set within a hover overlay.

As a workaround, you'll need to set the 'stay on target screen' option within the hover overlay. It will permanently move you to that screen, but will allow you to click the next hotspot.

We have an open feature request for native hover+click overlays. I'm going to open a ticket on your behalf and link your ticket to this feature request. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help out with.

Have a wonderful day,

Shaina

If anybody else would like to add their feedback about this potential feature, please fill out a ticket with Support here detailing the feature you are looking for.

Hi Shania,

thank you for the answer. I was suprised that i found the lot of the same topic here and also in the other discussions UX/UI forums and Sketch/InVision still has no simple solution for this "basic" functionality. I think, it absolutelly web/sw standard, for exemple: hover with change BG color of the rows in table and on click to the selected row the path to the detail. Or buttons, which change the color on mouse-over and on click go the other page.

I think, Sketch and InVision are focused mainly to the mobile devices UI, where are these functionality is not nescesary - but not every UX/UI designers are working on fancy mobile apps. I need to presenting UI to the client/investor of our profesional software which we developing and I'm not able explain to him, why is my prototypes has no this kind of basic features, like buttons and table-rows hover :(

It will be helpful, if I can animate component and than use this already animated component use in different "layers" of my project.

Thank you for understanding.

Regards, Jary
