4 helpful additional features and adjustments that can make Invision better.

Hello guys. I have decided to put all of my current ideas in one post. I don't mean to spam you guys with a lot of request but I just thought that this might help make your product better.

 

These are the following:

1. allow user to copy and paste objects especially images using right click inside and out the application/program. I have noticed that you can only do this by using a hotkey.

2.A feature where you can repeat a copy of the selected objects with a manner of following a grid or array.

This is somewhat similar to Adobe xd's repeat grid feature. It's included feature is the ability to adjust the spacing of each object grid while only adjusting the one part of the grid. This is helpful for a faster workflow.

3.An option to disable the device mockup in the preview mode. In my opinion it is also nice to give the user the option to preview their created prototype plainly without the borders and images of selected device.

4. Allow the user to cancel the interaction wire just by click the background outside the artboard in addition to esc key that cancels it.

Thanks for taking the time to consolidate these feature requests for Studio. Below I have addressed each of the features that you have described:

  1. I'm having a hard time understanding exactly the behavior you're looking for here. Can you please provide a screencast or screenshot displaying the behavior you're looking for? If you're unable to provide this information, can you lay out step-by-step how you would like this to work?

    Currently, you can copy/paste from Sketch into Studio. Studio also supports SVG import, copy/paste styles, and copy/paste images. To learn more about how this currently works in Studio, please take a look at our documentation detailing how Copying and Pasting from other applications to Studio works.
  2. Great news! We're currently tracking interest for a repeat grid function similar to what Adobe XD and our very own Craft Duplicate offers. I will open a ticket to track your interest for this.
  3. In order for me to better understand what you're looking for here, can you please provide the following information?:
    3a. A screenshot of what your Preview Mode currently looks like
    3b. Any screenshots showing how you would prefer the Preview Mode to look
    3c. Are you previewing your project within Studio or the InVision Web App?
  4. At this time, it is possible to easily delete interactions in Studio once they're created. You can learn more about how to do this here.

    If this isn't what you're looking for, please let me know and provide any additional details or screenshots displaying how you would prefer this to work.
