I noticed Invision Studio is unable to "Publish" if the file contains a larger number of art boards (around 50), and/or if the file is larger than around 5MB.
The progress bars stops on "Sending presentation", then it says: "Something went wrong. Please try again. If the problems persists, try signing out and in again."
I have tried to log out and in again, reinstalled Invision Studio, even changed to a different account. The problem persists.
I'm using Studio version 1.7.0. I had the same issue with version 1.6.
Please help!

Hi Lala.
It was fine when I had less art boards. It happened when I had about 50 art boards, and when the file is large than around 5MB.

BUMP-ing this as i am having major issues with uploading anything larger than 2MB since the Planned Maintenance on the 13th June.
support ticket already open with Daniel and Mike - hoping for any communication from Community members experiencing the same issue. surely it can just be me and my colleague here in the UK experiencing this issue
Hi,
I am having the same error above.
After clicking on Publish button, it says 'generating screen thumbnails' and then 'uploading assets' and 'sending prototype'. Then it stops and the error message appears.
I published a prototype before without an error. After some changes on the screen I tried to create another prototype as the second version of the app but it does not publish it.
My mac:
I use Invision Studio Version 1.28.1
I need your help to solve the issue
Thanks in advance,
Gülseda.
Hello everyone, after going through this over and over again, and endless amoutns of trial and error i can confirm that this problem is caused where the .Studio file size is greater than 2MB.
if you create a new Studio file and add images so that its jsut over 2MB you will notice you cant Publish. take a fefw images out so its less than 2MB and it will publish.
The issue is obviously being caused some internal server error somewhere that is limited to 2MB but as yet the team at InVision haven't found out what is causing the issue yet.
One trick I have learned is that, if like you me you are creating artboards with multiple layers of images and you are hiding some layers when you replicate artboards as part of your sequencing, then you need to just delete the hidden image layers, dont just use the hide function. this will help you to reduce your filesize massively, without compromising the design.
unfortunately a lot of my work is intricate UX so i need large numbers of artbaords, all with high numbers of visible image layers so i very quickly hit 2MB
Hi Phillip,
Try to remove all svg files and upload the prototype. If you will be able to succeed then you need to refactor those svgs: simly ungroup them so all shapes will stay on the same level and remove masks.
Every time when I have a problem with publishing it usually relates to svg files. I assume it is well known issue.
thanks Archie will give that a try, although i know that the test files i created that were more than 2MB didn't contain any SVG files.

I'd like to gather some more information so that I can pass this on to our Support team for further troubleshooting.
– If on Mac, could you please send a screenshot of your "About This Mac" panel
– If on Windows, could you please send some screenshots of both the “Device specifications” and the “Windows specifications” sections on the “About” page?
Looking forward to your reply!
Best,
