[Invision Studio] Bold fonts not rendering in prototype

I'm having an issue where fonts that are bold (or medium) in InVision Studio are rendering as normal weight in the prototype. They look fine in the grid view of the prototype, but not in play mode. The inspector thinks the font is bold.

Sorry to hear that you’re running into some font weight issues when previewing your prototype. If you wouldn’t mind answering a few questions for me so we can try to get this fixed for you:

1. What version of Studio are you using?
2. Can you please provide a screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview?

Dear Shaina,

I’ve experienced the same issues. None of my fonts are rendered correctly in the Invision iOS-App or online. They all have been replaced by Open Sans. On Preview on Mac or in the thumbs they still there.

I’m using also Studio 0.96.0 (Mac OS Sierra 10.13.6 | iMac "27 late 2013, | 3,4 GHz Intel Core i5)

     1. A screenshot of the issue you're encountering
     2. A screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview
     3. The version of Studio you are using
     4. The Studio file in which you are encountering this issue

Hi,

My inVision studio app doesn't support the fonts. The preview of prototyping is not loading some fonts like Callibri family , Frutiger Neue LT Pro family.

I am using MAC pro. Attached details. help.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with fonts not rendering in Studio.

We'd like to gather some additional details to assist in troubleshooting this further. Would it be possible to provide the following?

  • Can you please send a screenshot of the About This Mac overview? (click the Apple icon > About This Mac)
  • Could you provide a screencast or screenshots showing what’s going wrong?

I know this is a frustrating problem to come across, but this information will be valuable in helping us troubleshoot this for you.
