Teams don't show up in Craft manager

Hello InVision team!

So I have a problem. I can't select a proper team to upload my designs to as it doesn't show up in the Craft manager. On the main website I can switch between a team and my personal account, however I don't see that option in Craft Manager. To clarify, I did check out

Gear icon -> Account name -> Reload team

There's nothing there apart from my personal account :)

Hi Matthew,

So sorry to hear that you're running into this issue. My apologies for the confusion here, unfortunately at this time it is not possible to create prototypes under your Team account when creating the prototype from Craft Sync. This is something we have raised with our Product team as a feature request. I will open a ticket on your behalf to add your voice to that request and we'll be happy to let you know when that becomes possible. 

In the meantime, you can transfer the prototype that you've created under your personal account to the Team umbrella following these steps:

     1. Go to your prototype homepage.
     2. Click the More button (next to Assets under your prototype name).
     3. Select Transfer Ownership.
     4. Enter the team owner's (the person who purchased the Team account) email address and click Yes, Transfer Prototype.
     5. An email invite will be sent to the recipient which must be accepted. Upon accepting the invite, ownership will be officially transferred and the whole team will be able to access it.

For future prototypes, I would recommend first creating the prototype under your Team account within the browser (as you can create blank prototypes) and then populating the prototype from Craft Sync after that creation.

How is that? I have this . So are you saying that it only works for enterprise teams?

Hi Mateusz,

That is correct. InVision offers both a Team Plan and Enterprise Plan.

Currently, if a user is signed into Craft Sync with their personal account that is on a Team, they don't have the ability to create a prototype in the Team directly from Craft Sync. As a workaround, they would need to create the prototype in the web app then sync to it, or create a new prototype from Craft Sync then transfer it from their personal account to the Team.

I am having the exact problem. Is there a way to be able to select a team in craft before publishing from Sketch?

Hi Mika,

If you are on a Team plan but you are not the Team plan owner, you can't publish new prototypes for your team from Craft Sync. First, you need to create a new team prototype in the InVision web app. You can then return to Craft Sync and sync your Sketch or Photoshop file to that prototype.

If you are the Team plan owner, new prototypes will always be published to the Team plan. This cannot be changed.
