Hi Jinju,

Sorry to hear that you're running into these issues. We've noticed similar issues that other have encountered with text not rendering properly in Studio. In order to further troubleshoot, can you please provide the following information?

     1. Can you please provide a screenshot of you Studio version information?
     2. Can you please provide a screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview?
     3. Can you please provide the steps you took before running into this issue?
     4. Are you using Craft when encountering this issue? If so, can you please provide your Craft Manager version number?

Look forward to hearing from you and helping out!

Thanks,

Shaina

So i hate to bring this up guys but where are we with this for months i been stating there are major import problems and lets be honest the import of even the png's just doesn't work or if it does you can't even change the color of the objects. How far out is the fix for this because its really painful... Especially when i am working in sketch and try to move it over i basically have to build the entire thing over again in Studio which is even more painful. If this is going to get release to the public this is going to be a huge red flag. Wondering where you guys are at with this i brought this up literally like 5 months ago...

When i went to import this is all got the text is missing, the colors are wrong - its all edged which is weird just a lot of problems with import...

Like how far out is the solution to this?

Hey Jeremy,

Which version of Studio are you currently using? Could you also send over your computer specs? You shouldn't be running into trouble importing at this point.

Thanks. I'll look forward to hearing back so we can get your issue resolved ASAP!

Hi Team,

Cannot import Tethr .sketch file to the inVision Studio (on Windows). When importing both TETHR UI Kit.sketch and TETHR UI Kit (template version).sketch, an error occurs. Other free inVision .sketch resources can be imported without the issue. Could you please check that specific UI kit compatibility?

Thank you.

Hi Ih,

Thanks for providing those details! Can you please try updating to the latest version of Studio 1.12.0 and attempt to open this UI Kit again?

Please let me know if you continue to have issues after updating Studio.

Look forward to hearing from you,

Shaina

Hi Shaina,

I've tried using Studio 1.12.0 and... it doesn't help.
The issue is with the Sketch files in the TETHR UI Kit itself.
Could you please repeat the steps I've described to check on your own?
This is that simple: Your-created Sketch files are not compatible with your-created product.
Just those specific files from that specific bunch should be addressed.

Thanks.

Good Morning,

I tried to import this into Studio on Windows and was unable to do it as well. I went in and looked at the original TETHR file and its noticed that it's dated 2015.

The workaround I could suggest is to go to a much earlier version of Sketch 43.2 or so and import the file there. It sounds like you are unable to access Sketch from your earliest comment, but I thought I would give you the option. I suspect that there is a conversion issue between the earlier Sketch format and the next version up.

Often I have found with my really old files in Sketch (to even get them working in Sketch) I have to open of the file in a version much older, but closer to the original date of the file. Then upgrade to a later version.

I was able to open and import this on my MAC using the approach above.

It sounds like this is an issue that the InVision team needs to track. I have worked with Shaina while testing this out and have notified her that I was able to reproduce the issue. She will reach out shortly to make sure this is reported.

Hi Ih,

Thanks for attempting to open this file again after updating to the latest version of Studio. Sorry to hear that this still isn't working for you.

As Preston mentioned above, this might possibly be related to the specific file. Do you have issues opening any other UI Kits or Sketch files in Studio?

I would like for our Support team to take a closer look at this for you, and will open a ticket on your behalf. Keep an eye out for an email from one of our Support agents soon.

Best,

Shaina

Thanks @Preston and @Shaina for the prompt reaction.

Exactly, just one specific bunch should be addressed as I mentioned earlier.
It's obviously the oldest file in your kits section (even based on in its position - first from the bottom).
This is totally fine, as the Studio version for Windows is brand new, and the shared file is created in/for 3rd party product (Sketch) earlier.
(!) The way of possible fix right on your side - to update the kit and start sharing fully compatible kit with converted/re-saved files (so that none else would run into the same issue) - is described by Preston.

I'll check if it works and update this reply later.

Best.

Thanks so much for your understanding, Ih! I have notified our Support team of this, and also filled them in with Preston's suggestion.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

After just checking into your ticket, I noticed that one of our Support agents supplied you with a file that should work. You should have received an email from one of our agents recently in your ticket with a Subject that reads: "Re: Request created from: Importing sketch file to Invision Studio". Please let me know if you have any troubles receiving these messages from our Support team.
