Prototype not loading correctly

Hello,

I use a Macbook Pro 2011 and I need to work on an Invisionapp prototype project.

But the prototype isn't opening fine: 
- on Safari and Firefox, I can see the page that display all the screens of the prototype, but when I click on a screen it doesn't appears correctly: the text of the buttons/textbox are not fully readable, and the images are not displayed
- on Chrome, I can see the page that display all the screens of the prototype, but when I click on a screen, it only displays a white/empty area

I've seen similar issues about Studio, but not about Invision app.

Would you an explanation?

Hi Amalendu,

As mentioned in my last update a couple of weeks ago, this is a known limitation that our Product and Engineering teams are continuing to track. While we don't have plans to fix this issue in the near future, we continue monitor the prevalence and severity of the bug, and we will revisit that decision if the circumstances change.

I apologize that I don't have a more concrete update at this time. I'm happy to open a ticket on your behalf to add your voice to this issue and ensure that you're among the first to know when we have any updates. 

We appreciate your patience and understanding while we continue to monitor this issue, and I'm sorry that we don't have better news at this time.

Hi Shaina,

Would like to add a vote for a fix to this issue. I was recently tasked with creating a design system for my company. I love InVision but am struggling to convince my CEO that Studio & DSM are the right tools for us to use because every time I send him a prototype link it renders like the other examples shown in this thread. Totally understand the need to prioritize and that you offer these amazing tools FOR FREE; nonetheless, I hope this issue will be fixed soon so that I can whole-heartedly advocate for adopting Invision company-wide.

     1. Can you please send a screenshot of the About This Mac overview? (click the Apple icon > About This Mac)
     2. What version of Studio are you using?
     3. Could you provide a screenshot showing what’s going wrong?

Hi Tomi,

Thanks for providing those added details. You may be encountering this issue due to your macOS version.

For the best possible Studio experience, we recommend following the minimum system requirements detailed here. To ensure optimal performance, you will want to use Studio on a computer with graphics cards that meet these specifications:

     - Intel HD Graphics 5000 and above (found in certain MacBook Air models as early as Mid 2013 and in certain iMac and Mac mini models in 2014)
     - Nvidia GeForce GT 650M and above (found in certain MacBook Pro and iMac models as early as Mid 2012)
     - ATI Radeon HD 4850 and above (found in certain iMac models early as 2009)

Prototype not Loading Correctly :-(

 

I have added the interaction and done the changes .

On Finally running it, I have some issues regarding jpeg images.

It is not being show at the time of Running the Prototype.

I have a problem with ipad app. I use Windows Invision Stuido to create my protoype and upload it to invision servers, in Chrome, Firefox, etc it works OK, but when i open invision app on my ipad, it does not work, it only shows "in" logo in the middle of a white page. Could you help me please?

I apologize for the issues you're facing in the iPad app with your Studio prototype. As mentioned above, we will need some additional information to troubleshoot this issue for you. Can you please provide:

  1. Your operating system details.
  2. The version of Studio that you're using.
  3. The version of the InVision iOS app that you're using on your iPad.
  4. You browser details for the browsers that you're encountering this issue with. You can find this information here.
  5. A screencast or screenshots showing what’s going wrong.

1. They are using ipad pro 3rd generation with 12.4 ios.

2. Studio version is 1.22.1 for windows

3. Invision iOS app we have is 2.8.3

4. We have no problems with any browser in Windows or MAC, the problem is when we open our prototypes directly in invision app from the ipad, it only shows us

Additional, we have a Starter plan, so we should not have any issues, we have a meeting in 45minutes so we need to have it solved until 11am (Mexico City hour) please.

I apologize for the inconvenience, and wish we could get you up and running for your meeting in 45 minutes. However, it appears as if this may be related to a known issue that our Support and Engineering teams are currently investigating. The more user information they gather about this issue will help them find what's causing this issue.

Just to rule it out, if you load your project in an incognito/private window on the iPad, does your prototype load correctly?

UPDATE to the issue reported by Rodrigo

Firstly, I want to apologize for how it's taken for us to address this; however, we have received an update from our Engineering Team regarding this, and this issue should now be resolved with the latest version of the iOS App. With version 2.8.7, your prototypes should load as expected. To ensure that you receive this fix, please uninstall the InVison iOS app and re-install it from the App Store.

After that, your prototypes should load as expected. Definitely let us know if you're still running into this issue after this. Again, our apologies for the inconvenience this has caused for each of you.
