inVision Studio will not launch

I start the app and it wont go pass a black blank screen. See screen-grabs.

Hi Ivan,

I apologize for the UI problems you are seeing with Studio. There is currently a known issue with older Mac models which causes UI issues similar to what you are seeing on your end. This is a problem that our engineering team are looking into and as soon as we get an update from them we will be sure to share it with you here. I am afraid that the only workaround we can offer is to use a later model Mac, which I understand is not an ideal solution for everyone!

I can't apologize enough for the trouble that you are seeing with Studio. It is something we are working on fixing as we do feel your pain. 

I will be opening a ticket on your behalf with our Support team so that they can gather more information from you on this issue, and keep you in the loop. Please look for a message from them soon.

I am having the same problem. Studio worked for me yesterday - I worked on my project for a couple hours. When I go to open it today - nothing but a black screen. I'm on a 2012 Macbook Pro running 10.9.  Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear that's you're encountering issues. Can you please send a screenshot of the version of Studio you are currently running? This will help to give me a better idea of what might be going on.

Hi,

 

I am having a similar issue, Studio is stuck on the launch video (screenshot attached). My Mac is brand new this year. Any suggestions?

I solved the issue, I just pressed ESC before it reached this screen and it took me straight to the login screen.

Hi 

After installation i can see only blank splash screen . Windows version. Please help to enter application.

Sorry to hear that you're also running into this issue when attempting to open up Studio on your Windows machine. So that we can get a better idea of what might be causing this?:

  1. Your operating system details
  2. The version of Studio that you're running
  3. A screenshot displaying the blank screen that you're encountering
