It seems whenever I try to 'Create Styles' the page produced is blank.
Is this a bug with the new update?
Our sincerest apologies for the time it took to resolve the issue where Craft Sync Styles plugin is not working correctly with Sketch version 50. I'm glad to let you all know that our Engineering team just released an update for Craft Sync Styles plugin and you should be able to generate styles page as expected, please make sure your Craft Manager is updated to Version v1.0.69 and the Library plugin is updated to v1.0.81 (see screenshot below). Please also note you will need to toggle on the Library plugin within Craft Manager to be able to use the latest version of the Library plugin. Please give it a try and let us know if any of you notice any further issues with Sync Styles plugin. We really appreciate your patience while we try to resolve this issue.
I am having the same issue (it results in an empty page) and need to create a guide today! Sketch 50.2 / Craft 1.0.63 - Please help!
Hi Enrico and Mark,
I'm terribly sorry to hear that you are both running into this issue. It appears as if our Support team is aware of this issue. We have started to see this issue crop up in Sketch 50 and our Engineers are currently looking into it. Unfortunately, we do not have a workaround to get this working in Sketch 50 at this time. I am very sorry for the frustration and inconvenience this has caused. I will open tickets on each of your behalf so that our Support team can keep you in the loop on this issue. Please look for a message from them soon.
Have a great day,
If anyone else is experiencing this issue, please contact our Support team directly here for the speediest resolution.
I'm thinking the recent update to Sketch (v50 onwards) doesn't play well with Craft / InVision. I'm experiencing issues with the Inspect tool since the upgrade. Projects created/uploaded before v50 work just fine in InVision. Fingers crossed both teams are talking together to sort things out.
Our teams are working their hardest to get these issues with Sketch 50 resolved. Thanks for hanging in there while we work to resolve these issues.
I also want to thank you for reaching out directly to Support regarding the issues you are running into with Inspect. I have made our Support team aware of your comment here in Community, and they will be reaching out shortly.
Have a wonderful day,
Thanks for the update Shaina
Of course, Joe! Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.
Do you have an update Shaina? Bug still persists.
It appears as if our Support and Engineerings teams are still working hard to resolve this issue. However, in the meantime, the only workaround that I have to offer is to downgrade to Sketch 49.3, although I know that this is not ideal. You can find the Sketch 49.3 download link here. Once downloaded, you should have both v50.2 and v49.3 installed. It would be preference how to proceed from here, as you could download and leave Sketch 49.3 in your Downloads folder to launch from there in the mean time - while leaving your 50.2 in the Applications folder - and then send Sketch 49.3 from your Downloads to your Trash when we've corrected the Document Styles. You can also send Sketch 50.2 to your Trash from your Applications folder now prior to proceeding with the download of Sketch 49.3, and then update Sketch 49.3 when the issue with Document Styles has been corrected.
I will open a ticket on your behalf with our Support team as well so that they can keep you in the loop on this issue. Please look for a message from them soon.
I apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused for you.
Thanks for your patience,
Does sketch files version 50.2 open in 49.3?
Hi Shaina. Do we have any updates on this bug? It still seems to be an issue unfortunately. Thanks in advance!
Thanks for following up. It appears as if our Support and Engineering teams are still working on a resolution for this issue. As mentioned above, the only workaround at this time is to downgrade to Sketch 49.3.
I will open a ticket on your behalf with our Support team so that they can keep you in the loop with any updates on this issue, and gather more details from you. Please look for a message from them soon.
are there any updates relating this issue?
Shaina is out today, but I'm happy to give you some additional info around this issue.
Unfortunately there hasn't been any update just yet.
To be completely transparent, most of our engineering resources for Library are focused on DSM by now which is why any issues that come up with Library are not getting fixed as quickly as they used to. I do recommend giving DSM a try in the meantime, if you haven't already.
Again, I apologize for the disruption this is causing in your work. Please let me know if you have any questions.
thanks for the fast response. I have already looked into DSM and must say that you did a fantastic job with it! Unfortunately, it serves a different purpose, at least for me. I would like to use the Styles plugin to quickly change a colour globally in my document in order to try out different colour palettes. As far as I have seen, DSM does not provide this functionality but please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thank you for checking out DSM, and we're so glad to hear that you are enjoying it for the most part! You are correct about the functionality you are seeking. At this time, it is not possible to change colors globally in DSM. However, the good news is that this is a feature our teams are already tracking interest for!
I will open a ticket on your behalf tracking your vote for the ability to change colors globally using DSM. Please look for a message confirming your vote soon.
This issue has been happening for months now. It's truly making the workflow a lot more time consuming and inconsistencies are hard to spot. When is this finally gonna be resolved?
So sorry to hear that you're running into this issue as well. Can you please provide the following information so that we can determine what might be causing this issue for you?:
1. What operating system are you using? Please include the version (e.g. macOS 10.13.3 or Windows 10). 2. What version of Sketch/Photoshop are you using? 3. What version of the Craft plugins are you using? 4. Could you provide a screenshot showing what’s going wrong?
Look forward to hearing from you,
It's strange to me that you are not owning this functionality in Sketch. Being able to work with your designs this way is an essential part of the workflow of designing. The way this is playing out seems to me that you are not interested in collaborating with Invison anymore but aren't transparent about it yet.
Second that. The fact that your dev team is on DSM is not a valid reason to leave your operational software become buggy.
MacOS 10.12.6 (16G29)
Library 1.0.77 (newest)
Screenshot, create styles create one group with nothing. (Swatch: #FFFFFF)
And to answer your question:1) High Sierra 10.13.4
2) Sketch 50.2
3) Craft — up to date on all
4) There is nothing to screenshot since it just generates an empty artboard
Hey, I have the same issue like all the other people posting in this thread. Sketch 50.2, Craft Plugin 1.0.49, macOS Sierra 10.12.6. The function "Create Styles" is not working. Blank Sheet, no colors, no typo, nothing. I'm very new to Sketch, I've worked with Photoshop for 15 years now and I'll use Sketch for a new design project, but I need this function for the stylesheet. Is there really no information, when this will be fixed? It's an essential feature I guess... Thanks for feedback in advance, best regards from Stuttgart, Germany...
I'm apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing for each of you. I understand how frustrating it is to wait for a fix to an issue. The Engineering team prioritizes issues based on the scope and impact of the issue. For that reason, we don’t have an immediate fix available, but are still working hard on a resolution.
We’re constantly working on improvements, and we greatly value opinions like yours. Part of my job is to take important threads from Community to meetings with relevant Product Managers to discuss the struggles our customers are having. I will be sure to raise your concerns and request in my next meeting with this Product Manager. I’m also opening a ticket on each of your behalf so that you can stay up to date on the status of this issue. Please look for a message from our Support team soon.
We agree that using InVision should be seamless and enjoyable, and we are constantly working to break down barriers in design. Hearing from customers like you is what helps make InVision products better each day. Thank you for providing your feedback on this issue.
