    That's a great question!

I've always been partial to events that offer a wide array of topics within our design ecosystem. We try to our best to do this within our own extremely active Dallas UX community. Each year we have a variety of conferences that bring in talent and professionals from around the world.

The Big D Design event will be happening 20-22 of September In Dallas Texas.

The event has already passed for this year but SXSW in Austin each March provides a wealth of topics and information.

    Hi Shaina!

I'm looking forward to this year's Front End Design Conference in St. Petersburg, FL! It is two days of immersive web design and front end development delivered via keynote style talks. There is also a day of more in-depth workshops thrown in for good measure.

I am mostly excited for this year's Afrotech Event! I loved it last year. Personally, I love attending design conferences that highlight marginalized groups like People of Color, a person who identifies as LGBQT, immigrants, and etc. I believe Afrotech did an amazing job highlighting stories I rarely get to hear.

There's a few events in Florida I'll be sure to make my way to. Lala mentioned one.

Also, the UX+DEVSummit! I go every year! I can't wait. My favorite part of this conference is where they address the blurry lines of "Should a designer code?" I love the way we get to hear from UX Engineers and Front End Developers talk about their understanding of design principles/design tools.

Slightly biased in my response here as I'm part of the organising team ツ but the events I'm really looking forward to in 2018 are NUX's

    NUXCamp Workshop event

    http://2018.nuxcamp.uk/

and the NUX7 UX & Design conference

Aside from the ^ above where I'm involved—I'm really pleased to be attending the Design Systems Workshop by Brad Frost in Londonhttps://dbcolondon.splashthat.com/ - which has been organised by InVision themselves ツ
