Craft Library button goes missing in Sketch 48.2

Hello

I was working in a document to create a set of styles. I did so successfully with the Library feature, though did not save the file.

I reopened the same file, and now the Library button is gone. Where did it go?

I'm using craft 1.0.57

I've restarted twice and rebooted. Still no Library button

Hi there,

So sorry to hear that you're running into this issue. Can you please provide a screenshot of what this looks like on your end?

Look forward to getting more information in order to help you further.

Hello again,

Can you please double check that your Library is "toggled on" in Craft Manager? The image below shows Library as "toggled off":

If Library isn’t toggled off in Craft Manager, please also check the *Craft* menu in Sketch and toggle the Craft plugin panel off, then back on:

Please let me know if that solves your issue.

Thanks,

Shaina

How do I get to that list of toggles in Craft Manager? I see no way to access it.

I can toggle the toolbar on / off in sketch however...

In the upper-righthand corner of your toolbar, you should see the Craft Manager icon. Once you click on that, it will give you the toggles for all Craft plug-ins:

Hey Ferenc,

Per our announcement, as of Friday, September 14, 2018, we no longer offer the Craft Library plugin for Sketch. You'll still be able to continue managing shared libraries and design systems within InVision’s Design System ManagerWe’ve poured our hearts into building DSM - a generational leap in how product teams manage shared libraries and design systems.

We encourage you to ensure all users on your team switch over to DSM to avoid any disruption to your workflow. To get started, you can import your existing Craft Libraries into DSM.

Design System Manager is already part of the Craft Plugin suite and provides additional benefits including:
  • All your shared libraries are synced through InVision, so your teams always have access to the latest version of your libraries.
  • Many new features for managing libraries including documentation, custom folder categories.
  • The DSM Enterprise edition also includes versions, user role management and library permissions to allow more granular controls over your design systems.
If you have feedback or concerns around this announcement, please contact us to share your thoughts.

Note: We are only discontinuing Craft Library. All of our other current Craft plugins (like Sync, DSM, and Freehand) will continue to be available.

Hi Beth,

When I try to use DSM (I'm already signed into the InVision website) I get this error message:

Any ideas?

Hi Max,

Have you tried uninstalling Craft from your machine? This may be the reason why you are receiving this message. In addition, can you please confirm the following information?:

     1. What version of Craft Manager are you using?
     2. Can you please provide a screenshot of your "About this Mac" overview?
     3. What version of Sketch are you using?

Look forward to hearing from you,

Shaina
