Craft using too much memory

Hey,

I am using Sketch and Craft all together. When I open neither of them, my laptop memory usage is around 27%, but with Sketch and Craft open, it can be as high as 80%.

I have attached three screenshots that I took while running them. May I know why it occupies so much memory? Thanks!

Hi Shiyu,

Can you please confirm what versions of Craft Manager and Craft Sync you are using? You can find these numbers by using the instructions here.

We heard from several users about a similar issue when using Craft Manager 1.0.52. However, our Engineers have recently released improvements in Craft Manager 1.0.54, which we believe will prevent this problem from occurring in the future. Please refer to this help article for more information on properly downloading the newest version of Craft Manger. 

If you are still having issues after updating, please let us know.

Hey Shaina,

I am using Craft Manager 1.0.54, it seems fine till now. Thanks for your quick reply.

Another issue is, I kept being signed out almost every 5 min for Sync and DSM. Not sure if that is a bug?

I am using 1.0.54 and is says that Craft is using 5.5 gb ram..from 8. DaaaamN!

 

I already contacted the support team but no answers yet..
