To recreate:
- Verify status.invisionapp.com shows everything functional
- Select artboard
- click Craft toolbar "Sync" icon in the Craft toolbar
- Verify the correct project is selected
- Verify that "Only selected artboards" is selected
- Verify that "include hotspots when syncing" is selected
- Click button "Sync to InVision"
- Sketch will crash and both the Apple system crash reporter as well as the Sketch crash reporter will take a minute or two to pop up.
- edit to add: Sync window says it's processing symbols and then it reports that it is syncing artboards and 100ms after it says that it's syncing artboards everything crashes.
This happens whether one artboard is selected or many are selected.
I was able to sync screens earlier today, so I don't know what happened. I'm going to posit that the Studio rollout is killing the Invision servers. Just a guess. :-)
Thanks in advance for any help, ideas, etc.

Thanks, Shaina.
I believe the issues was caused by another plugin that wouldn't update. I removed the plugin and restarted Sketch and I was able to sync via Craft. Mostly wanted to share here to see if it was just my Sketch setup or something larger.
Hi Jon,
Glad you got it figured out! Thanks for sharing with the Community.
Have wonderful day,
Shaina
Hi Jon, which plugin did you remove?
I'm also seeing that any Sync I start via the Craft plugin (whether toolbar or Plugins menu), will get Sketch into a "(not responding)" state in the Activity Monitor and in the list for "Force Quit Applications."
This is on a Mac on Sierra, version 10.12.6.
I had a bunch of plug-ins enabled. I first recognized this problem in the last one or two days, with all of my plug-ins enabled, today, I tried syncing a few times with all the plug-ins disabled.
I've tried the Sync with all the plug-ins still enabled after trying a safe boot of my Mac as a troubleshooting trip.
Then I disabled all plug-ins aside from Craft's.
The next Sync also sent Sketch into a "(not responding)" mode. I Force Quit that.
In all of these examples, I would get a dialog box saying that the Sketch file needed to be saved before a sync could be done. And it is after that that Sketch would go "not responding."
I started Sketch again, then tried another Sync. Sketch went into "not responding mode" again following the save dialog. But this time, about 5 minutes later, Sketch showed a bunch of not-quite-full-dialog boxes the reported that it was "Preparing to sync" some number of screens. And it seems to have gone through them now (15 total). It does seem now to have worked.
I've now enabled the plug-in Launchpad, because my current collaborators' Sketch use is very dependent on it. I'm trying a Sync now. It has gotten to the "Preparing to sync to InVision" dialog box, so it seems like it might work... And then it did finish.
One of my other Plug-ins, then...Hm. Here's a list of them (attached pic):

Just checking back in to say that I think there is a major problem with Autolayout and Craft.
Steps to replicate my issue with Sketch crashing in the middle of a Craft sync to Invision:
This works best by taking a symbol and then duplicating it vertically, giving it a set point to align to and distributing the duplicates as you see fit. Repeat steps 1 - 3.
Final, optional step: Pour a drink and figure out how you are going to explain to your client why their nav in the comps looks suddenly janky.
I don't know why it's occurring, but Craft appears to be seriously mangling my symbols during sync.
I've had this happen multiple times over the past week or so resulting in lost work, frustration and cursing.
I'm in a place in my project where I have to use autolayout and I have to sync with Invision.
Thanks in advance for any help, answers or advice.
Hi Jon,
Thanks for providing those details. I definitely think this is something that our Support team would find useful. I will go ahead and notify our Support team that this has become more serious issue for you.
Please standby for a message from our Support team.
Thanks,
Shaina
I am seeing the same issue and have been for multiple days. I will select an artboard to sync with the Craft manager and the app stops responding at the "Processing symbols complete" phase. The loading bar is at 100% but the application will not respond. I checked my list of plugins with those mentioned above and we have none in common except Craft.
Additional information: The preview image of the sync (underneath background color in the right drawer) flashes several times, and then the applications stops responding.
I'm having the same issues with Craft plugin. I'm also blocked at the "Processing symbols complete" phase. The load bar is at 100% and nothing but spinning wheel. I've unchecked all plugins except for Craft.
Is this due to Sketch 49 update?
I'm having the same issue as Thomas and Alexa. Sync was not working well for the past few days (very slow, sometimes failing to sync) and now it stopped working all together and freezing moments after I click "Sync to InVision" in the "Preparing to sync to InVision/Processing symbols complete" phase. I have to force quit Sketch.
I also updated to Sketch 49 today. Tried reinstalling the Craft plugin and restarted my computer but nothing is helping.
Hi Alexa, Thomas, Emily, I had the same issue after having updated to 49 today. What I did is uninstalling Craft from the plugins section in Sketch, restarted my computer, updated craft und installed Craft for Sketch from the Craft Manager again. After that I started Sketch and with the new version of the Craft plugin it worked fine again.
You should see the difference as syncing is now being shown via the Craft Manager and not as a modal inside Sketch any more.
Sad Craft prototype mode ist not yet working with Sketch 49.
Thanks @Part!
Here's what I did: 1. Uninstalled all the Craft plugins from Sketch 2. Uninstalled Craft Manager, 3. Restarted computer, 4. Downloaded a new version of Craft Manager (https://www.invisionapp.com/craft) and now we're back in business! I also see the UI change you're referring too.
Hey everybody!
A heads up that this issue is absolutely related to the release of Sketch 49.
As Emily suggested in her post directly above, updating to the new version should take care of the issues that each of you are facing. Thanks so much for posting those steps Emily!
1. Uninstall all the Craft plugins from Sketch
2. Uninstall Craft Manager
3. Restart computer
4. Download the new version of Craft Manager and you're back in business!
If anybody else is still having issues after performing the update, please be sure to post here and I will notify our Support team.
Thanks,
Shaina
Thanks everyone! Worked for me as well.
Awesome! Glad to hear it Alexa :)
Thanks! @PART @Emily
Issue resolved.
I'm having the same issues with Craft plugin.
I've updated Sketch and Craft to their latest version this week, and now I'm also blocked at the "Processing symbols complete" phase, the load bar is at 100% and nothing but spinning wheel. I have to force quit everytime.
