DSM: Re-order items in my design system?

Is there any way to organize the items in my library? Right now there seems to be no drag/drop functionality to sort items in my library at all, which presents huge problems both during initial setup as well as ongoing management of the library.

For example, I just added a bunch of colors to my library (at the same time) and they imported in a random order, but there's no way for me to organize them:

DSM looks like it has amazing potential for our team/company, but until we get some sorting it's not going to help us solve any problems :(

Is sorting a near-term roadmap item? 🤞

    YES. Sorting please.

I guess the workaround would be to rename the individual items so that it lists them alphabetically. But renaming something so that it sorts properly in DSM seems like a good way to create confusion for the rest of the dev org.

    Hi Shaina,

I definitely think you should think about adding reorganizing elements feature to DSM, but also, have you consider the possibility of letting the project admins to add new categories? I mean besides Components, Fonts, Text styles, our team has been trying to find a way to add an overview category, and divide the component category so we can have different component types defined.

If we have more comments and suggestions, where could we send these?

    Thanks,

+1, today it's not so easy to manage assets in DSM, because we can't add subfolder, organize components like we prefer, hope you will work on that in the futur :)
