Craft randomly adds text styles?

I made a few screens with different text styles added to them.
Everything is defined and named, but as soon as I sync the document styles it adds random styles and replaces my text styles with those styles..
Any idea why this happens and why it doesn't use the text styles I predefined in my Sketch document?

Our Support team found that this behavior is intended at this time, as Craft ignores Styles that you've manually created via "Create New Text Style." This is by design due to the relatively large number of attributes that Craft tracks when differentiating between distinct styles (including but not limited to things like text color, weight, size, leading, shadows, opacity, gradient, etc.).

If you plan to use the Styles page in conjunction with text styles, we recommend using the Create Styles/Sync Styles button to allow Craft to automatically generate text styles for you, rather than manually creating text styles. Then, you can rename the styles that Craft automatically generates, by navigating to the Styles page and modifying the Label's text element. The next time you Sync Styles, the name you selected should be reflected as the name of the text style going forward.

That said, having the ability for Craft to to capture those text styles you have created manually is a useful feature. If you'd like to add your vote to this feature request, please contact Support.

Hi Chretien, thanks for joining the Community. Sorry to see you're having so much trouble with your document text styles when syncing with Craft Library. I'm opening a Support ticket so we can determine what's causing this, so keep an eye out for a separate message to troubleshoot. Thanks!
