Breakpoints in same screen

Is there a way, I can see different breakpoint in the same screen. So the developer team can see the responsive breakpoints whitout changing screen. Kind of what launchpad does with their preview?

Hey Jackie!

At this time, that's not possible.  If you would like to add your vote to this feature request, please contact Support and we'll notify our Product team of your feedback.

Hello Jackie,

You can create individual layers within your design file with the layer name representing the breakpoint. On each layer include a rectangle with no fill and no border. InVision Inspect will still view this shape showing you the breakpoint specs. Include these layers at the bottom of your layer stack, so Inspect can still view other elements.

Hope this helps,

Ch'an

Hi Ch'an,

Welcome to the InVision Community, and thanks for taking the time to offer up your own insights. Including an invisible layer at the bottom of the layer stack is a great work around - awesome suggestion!

Up for this feature request. A great solution could be the ability to link prototype pages with each equivalent in others prototypes. In this way, if the user changes the resolution of its screen, he switches trough prototypes.

About that : the ability to organize prototypes into folders should be a great feature too (--> MarvelApp do this :-).

Bring back Macaw (http://macaw.co/). Invision bought it but I don't see its killer features (breakpoints and layout inspector) in their Studio app. What a waste...

Hi Victor,

Thank you very much for opening a ticket with our Support team as well as posting your concerns about the lack of these features here in Community. I see that one of our Support agents has responded to your request and linked you up with the appropriate feature requests.

Though we appreciate your interest in Macaw and are happy you want to use it, we recently announced the sunset of Macaw after two years of legacy support. That means that we are no longer making Macaw available for download and can no longer assist with the support of Macaw going forward.

Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

Have a great day,

Shaina

I agree breakpoints are necessary.

Fluid containers for responsive design are nice, but it's not fully responsive if it doesn't support breakpoints.

There's no point in moving to a new product, if the key features and reasons for using that new product, are only half baked.

The whole point of moving to software like this, is to speed up design workflow across multiple devices and page sizes. If I need to create a new file for each difference device size, it doesn't actually save me any time.

One vote for this feature.

Invision needs responsive breakpoints to compete with other prototyping tool such as axure
