Article Summary

Sort prototype screens

You can sort prototype screens in the All Screens overview of your prototype.

Sorting by Custom lets you manually resort the screens in the All Screens overview. The changes will be reflected in Play mode.

Sorting by A-Z or Date Updated resorts the screens in the All Screens overview only. The changes will not be reflected in Play mode.

To sort your prototype screens in InVision V7:

  1. Sign in to your InVision V7 team: your-team-domain.invisionapp.com.
  2. Open the prototype you wish to reorder.
  3. At the top of the screens, click the Sort by dropdown.
  4. Select the sorting option you prefer:
    • Custom: Manually drag screens to set them in a custom order. This is the default setting. Screens that are manually sorted will also be sorted in Play mode.
    • A-Z: Sort screens alphanumerically, in an ascending or descending order. This will only affect the order of the screens in the All Screens overview. Screens in Playmode will not be resorted.
Note: If your prototype has sets when you enable alphanumeric sorting, the sets information will be preserved. However, the sets will not be visible in the All screens overview of the prototype.
    • Date updated: Sort screens by most or least recently updated. This will only affect the order of the screens in the All Screens overview. Screens in Play mode will not be resorted.
