As a member of an InVision V7 Enterprise team, you can use password protection when sharing a document via a public share link.
Password-protecting prototypes
To create and share a password-protected public link for a prototype:
- Open the prototype and, in the top-right corner, click Share.
Alternatively, from the Documents tab, hover over the document thumbnail, click the More (•••) icon, and click Share.
- In the Share dialog, click the Public tab, and then click Get Public Link.
If there is an existing public link for the document, you won't see the Get Public Link screen.
- Click Update public link settings.
- Toggle the option to Require a password, type the password you want to use, and then click Done.
- Back in the share dialog, copy the public link URL and share it as wanted.
Password-protecting freehands
To create and share a password-protected public link for a freehand:
- Open the freehand and, in the top-right corner, click Share.
Alternatively, from the Documents tab, hover over the document thumbnail, click the More (•••) icon, and click Share.
- In the drop-down menu on the left, select the option Anyone with the link.
- Toggle the option to Enable password protection.
- Type the password you want to use, and, if needed, click the Copy button to copy the password to your clipboard.
- Click the Copy link button to copy the public link URL and share it as wanted.
While it's not possible per se to revoke a Freehand link, you can prevent guests with the link from accessing it by adding a password, or by updating the existing one. Alternatively, you can also change the settings under Who can open this document? so that only team members or invited people can access it.
