Inbox in InVision V7 allows you to receive notifications about relevant new comments. You receive a notification when:
- Someone posts a new comment on a document you own.
- Someone mentions you in a comment or a sticky note.
- There is a reply in a thread you're participating in.
Viewing new notifications
To access your Inbox, navigate to the top right of almost any page and click the bell (
) icon.
When you have a new notification, a badge will display on the bell icon (), indicating that there are unread comments within the Inbox. Notifications are grouped by threads and will be listed by recency.
When viewing an individual prototype screen, you will not see the bell icon.
Managing unread notifications
Click on a notification to be taken the relevant comment card in the document. To mark a notification as read from the Inbox or comment panel, click More options (•••), and select Mark as read. If a comment thread is being read within a document, the corresponding notification in the Inbox will also be marked as read.
Viewing read notifications
To view notifications you've previously read, click View read notifications.
To mark a notification as unread, open the Inbox, click More options (•••), and select Mark as unread.
