How do I download library icons in Design System Manager (DSM)?

With Design System Manager (DSM), you can download your library icons as SVG files.

Downloading individual icons

To download an individual library icon:

  1. In Sketch, click the DSM icon (dsm-icon.png) or use the shortcut Command + L.
  2. At the top left of the DSM modal, click the drop-down menu.
  3. Hover over the library name and click View on the web.

    Note: If you are not signed in to InVision, the sign-in page will display. After you sign in, the DSM web view will appear.
  4. In the DSM web view, click to open your library.
  5. In the left-hand navigation menu, click Icons (or, if you renamed this folder, the click the appropriately named folder).
  6. Click the icon you want to download.
  7. In the top-right corner of the icon preview, click the download icon (dsm-library-download-icon.png).

The SVG file will open in a new browser tab, and you can save the file.

Downloading all icons

To download your icons in bulk:

  1. In Sketch, click the DSM icon (dsm-icon.png) or use the shortcut Command + L.
  2. At the top left of the DSM modal, click the drop-down menu.
  3. Hover over the library name and click View on the web.

    Note: If you are not signed in to InVision, the sign-in page will display. After you sign in, the DSM web view will appear.
  4. In the DSM web view, click to open your library.
  5. At the top right of the page, click the design tokens icon (design-tokens-icon.png).
  6. In the left-hand navigation, select a framework, and then scroll to the Icons section.
  7. Click Download.
    Note: To get a download link for sharing or accessing later, click Copy.

A ZIP file containing all your icons as SVGs will download to your computer.
