The InVision Cloud V7 Slack app lets you notify your team of changes to your Cloud V7 prototypes via the Slack workspaces and channels you authorize. To integrate Slack with InVision Cloud V7, install the InVision Cloud V7 Slack app from your avatar menu.

To integrate Studio with Slack as well, be sure to give the Slack Studio App a spin.

  7. Click Authorize.
This will grant access to all public channels in your Slack workspace; however, InVision will not send messages to any Slack channels that you or a teammate haven’t explicitly configured for push notifications. Authorizing channels now simply makes it easier for you to configure notifications for those channels later.

Authorizing additional Slack channels

By integrating InVision with Slack, you have authorized all public channels in the workspace. If you need to add private channels to your Slack workspace, you must add the InVision app to each private channel.

To add the InVision app to a private channel in a Slack workspace that you've integrated with InVision:

  1. In the Slack app, open the private channel.
  2. At the top of Slack, just left of the Search field, click the settings (slack-settings-icon.png) icon.
  3. Click Add apps.
  4. In the Search field of the Manage Apps dialog, enter "InVision V7."
  5. Next to the InVision V7 app in the results, click Add.
  6. Click Allow.

Repeat those steps for each private channel you want to add.
