InVision V7: How do I publish prototypes from Sketch or Photoshop? V7

Publishing documents from either Sketch or Photoshop to InVision is convenient with Craft Sync. The publishing workflow, however, differs between Sketch and Photoshop.

Syncing prototypes from Sketch

To sync a prototype from Sketch:

1. Select the artboard/s you want to sync.
   
   To publish all artboards on the Sketch page, ensure that you have no artboards selected before proceeding to step 2.
2. In the Craft panel on the right side of the canvas, click the Craft Sync icon (), which will prompt the Craft Manager modal to open.
3. Under Publish, click All artboards on page or Selected artboards.
4. Under Prototype, click Select existing or Create new.
5. Select or create the prototype you want to sync to InVision:
   • Under Select existing, click the dropdown, type the name, and select the prototype you want.
   • Under Create new, enter a name for your prototype and select the device type you want to use.
6. Under Preferences, click the Artboard Order dropdown list and select your preferred artboard order.
   
   You may need to click the Preferences dropdown to see the options.
7. If wanted, select Only publish artboards that have been modified.
8. Under Pixel density, click either 1x or 2x.
9. Click Publish.
   
   You will then see the Prototypes tab, where you can view the publishing progress indicator.
   
   

Syncing prototypes from Photoshop

To sync a prototype from Photoshop:

1. Select the artboard/s you want to sync.
2. In the Craft panel on the right side (by default) of the canvas, click the Sync icon ().
   
   The location of the Sync icon may vary, depending on how you have arranged your Photoshop panels.
3. In the middle of the Sync modal, click All artboards in document or Only selected artboards.
4. Click the Artboard pixel density dropdown and click 1x or 2x.
5. Click the Create or select a prototype dropdown.
   • Select an existing prototype: In the Search field, type the name and select the prototype you want.
   • Create a new prototype: Under the list of existing prototypes, click Create Prototype, enter a name for your prototype, and select the InVision account you want to sync to.
6. Click Sync or Create prototype.
