Because different prototypes require different levels of attention and urgency, InVision offers a variety of ways to manage notifications.
Prototype digest
The prototype digest email is a roll-up of changes made to your prototypes. You can choose from a variety of delivery options including:
- None
- Every hour
- Every 3 hours
- Once a day at 8:00 pm
To select a delivery option for your prototype digest:
- Sign in to your account and, in the top-right corner, click your name.
- Click View Profile.
- Click the Email Notifications tab.
- Under the Prototype digest section, select an email frequency by clicking the corresponding radio button.
Your changes will be saved automatically.

Comments notification emails
Comment notification emails alert you when others have commented on a prototype.
To set how often you receive comment notification emails:
- Sign in to your account and, in the top-right corner, click your name.
- Click View Profile.
- Click Email Notifications tab.
- Under the Comments section, select an email frequency by clicking the corresponding radio button. Options include Instant, Batched (approximately hourly), and Never.
This setting functions independently of the prototype digest settings. Changes made to the prototype digest settings will not impact your Comments settings.
Your changes will be saved automatically.
Create granular filters by controlling comment notifications for individual prototypes. In the Prototype Subscriptions list, next to each prototype, click the toggle button on () or off (
). This will ensure that you only receive notifications for the prototypes that are toggled on.
