Freehand for Microsoft Teams

Follow

With the Freehand by InVision app, you can harness the collaborative power of Freehand directly inside Microsoft Teams.

Be sure that the admin of your Office 365 organization has toggled on the ability to allow external apps in Microsoft Teams. When enabled, users can add tabs and bots that are available to the Office 365 tenant. To learn more, visit the Microsoft Teams help center.

Installing the app for the first time

To enable the Freehand by InVision app in Microsoft Teams:

  1. In the Microsoft Teams sidebar, click the Apps icon.
  2. Search for and select the Freehand by InVision app.
  3. Click the Add to a team button.
If you want to add the app to a specific chat only, click the drop-down and select Add to a chat.
  4. In the pop-up modal, search for a channel where you'd like to add the app and click Set up a tab.

If you're not already, you'll need to sign in to InVision. If you're signed in, a pop-up modal will appear, prompting you to attach a new or existing Freehand.
