Brand.ai artboards enable customers to upload entire artboards, as well as store a version history per artboard. It also enables a web view for each artboard so designers and developers can comment and discuss artboards. This feature is NOT going to be available in DSM.
At the same time, we’ve learned that customers typically use Brand.ai Artboards as a repository for templates - e.g. a generic form, an iOS chrome as a starting point for iOS design. Our recommendation is for customers to store these templates in a Templates section under Components. This way, the templates will be part of the library.
After the launch we are planning to enable adding templates to a new top-level category, Templates, that will live next to Components, Colors, and the rest of the top-level categories.
