Integrate InVision with Confluence
Keep your projects on track with InVision for Confluence. You can embed your prototypes in Confluence so everyone can see them, and they’ll update automatically as you iterate. The InVision for Confluence integration is available for Confluence Cloud, Server, and Data Center.
Install the integration
To install the InVision add-on for Confluence:
- From your Confluence home page, select Settings.
- Select Manage add-ons.
- Search for InVision, or use this direct link to the Atlassian Marketplace.
- Select Get it now. Choose the appropriate version for your instance of Confluence.
- On the follow page, select Install.
- After reading the Terms, select Accept and install.
Embed a prototype
To embed a prototype:
- While editing your Confluence page, paste in a share link to your prototype (either the whole prototype or specific screens).
- Once you’ve finished editing your document, click Publish at the bottom of the page to see your document and the embedded InVision prototype.
You can also attach your prototype by following these steps:
- Click the + icon to insert the InVision for Confluence macro.
- In the pop-up window, paste the InVision share URL, and click Insert.
- Once you’ve finished editing your document, click Publish at the bottom of the page to see your document and the embedded InVision prototype.
Known limitations
There are a couple known limitations for our Confluence add-on:
- The Confluence Server and Data Center add-ons require internet access to reach InVision servers.
- For optimum performance, Confluence Server and Data Center should have SSL configured.
