This article provides answers for InVision V6

To confirm your version, check the upper right corner of your dashboard. On V7? Check out this article instead.

The InVision for Slack plugin allows you to start a Freehand session, push prototype activity like status changes or new comments to a channel, and share individual screens with a channel. If you have already configured Slack with your prototypes, you won’t see a confirmation message when installing InVision for Slack from the Slack app directory.

To confirm that the plugin added the Freehand command, open Slack, enter a channel, and use the freehand command, /freehand. If the Freehand session does not start, restart Slack and try again. If you’re still having trouble after that, let us know.
