The InVision Android app is available as a Public Beta release and allows you to view and collaborate on your prototypes quickly and easily on your device. View and enjoy a faster, higher-fidelity experience online and off.
Installing the InVision Android App
To get started with the InVision Android app, you'll need to download the InVision Android app from the Google Play Store.
Logging in to the InVision Android App
Once you open the InVision Android app on your device, you'll be prompted to log in. Enter your account information (email address and password), then tap the pink Login button. The InVision Android app also supports SSO for Enterprise accounts. Click here for more info on accessing a Private Cloud instance via the InVision Android app.
Log in to your account, and your prototypes will appear under the default Projects view:
Tap on the download icon of the prototype to load it onto your phone. Once this is complete, you’ll be able to view them offline in addition to any prototype share links which you have downloaded.
By default, prototypes will be sorted alphanumerically, but once you start using the app, the prototypes will reorder according to what’s been opened most recently.
Navigate through your prototype by either swiping left and right, or tapping hotspots. If you tap on a screen in an area without a hotspot, you’ll be able to view hotspot areas.
To exit a prototype you’re viewing, long press anywhere on the screen without a hotspot to pull up a prototype menu. Tap Exit Prototype to return to the Projects view.
When you use the InVision Android App, you'll be able to load a prototype once, and it'll be available offline from there on out (unless you sign out of the app on your device).
Enabling airplane mode is recommended, as that will ensure we load from the offline version.
When you tap to visit your account tab, you’ll be able to sign out, report bugs, switch accounts (helpful for Enterprise accounts), get help or support, and leave feedback for our team.
For security purposes, all of your prototypes are removed when you sign out via your account tab, so you won’t be able to view them offline. Once you sign back in, you’ll need to reload all of your prototypes by tapping them and letting them load to see them in the app.
