If you need to use your prototype outside of InVision, you can always export the entire prototype, specific screens, or tasks.

No bulk export option
You need to export each document one by one as a bulk export option is not available. Note that our Support team can't export documents on your behalf.

Download a prototype

To download a prototype:

  1. Sign in to your account and navigate to the Documents page.

  5. Choose the export format:
    • Print prototype as a PDF: Download a PDF of all of the screens in your prototype as separate pages. This feature uses your browser's rendering engine to generate PDFs, and it generates a fully-customizable representation of your prototype. The following settings are available:

      • Include legal notice. You can edit the text of the legal notice.
      • Include document overview

      • Include comments
        • Comment type: general comments, private comments, notes, and tour points.
        • Comment status: open comments and resolved comments.
    • ZIP:Download a ZIP of your prototype to run on your own server. The following settings are available for ZIP exports:
      • Prevent hotspot hinting
      • Prevent browsing of thumbnails in the prototype using the navigation arrows
      • Remove "Made in InVision" branding from the exported prototype
    • PDF:Download a PDF of all of the screens in your prototype as separate pages. The following settings are available for PDF exports:
      • Portrait or Landscape orientation
      • Include conversations in the PDF (and which type/status)
      • Add password to PDF
  6. Click the Generate button.

A new browser tab will open, letting you know that the file is being generated. Depending on the file size, it may take a few moments. Once the file is ready, click the Download button.
