There are a few ways to use the @mention feature when commenting on a prototype in InVision, and the type of @mention you use determines who receives an email notification. To use the @mention feature in a comment or reply, simply enter @ along with the person's name or email address, or use @project to notify all active collaborators on the document.
The following table is a quick-reference guide to who gets notified when you use specific @mention types:
Mention | Notification |
---|---|
No mention | Sends an email to the active screen owner—the person who last edited the screen—if they are still a member of the prototype |
@project | Sends an email to all active collaborators of the document, including the Team plan owner. |
@name or @email_address | Sends an email to the mentioned user and the person who last edited the screen. |
